Hey Brandon

You sure do like responding to reviews. WOOOO watch our score drop!

Huh?

What the fuck was that about? Sorry, but I had no idea what was going on throughout the piece.

Cute animation. Just please work on conveying storylines a bit better.

Wow.

This is one of the funniest things I've seen on Newgrounds in all my years of visiting. Please keep making more.

Translation

There were some really good moments in the animation.

However, many of the character designs were awkward and hard to get used to.

My main problem is the translation.

I may have only took a few years of Spanish and a year of Japanese (plus 6 years of anime watching), but there were some moments where I could just flat out tell that the subtitles did not match the dialogue. I really hope I'm wrong though, cause that would be lame as hell if you just used some random Japanese clip and "translated it" to fit your own purpose.

Whatev.

Beautimus.

This is one of the NG classics that I absolutely adore. Eva and Blackie are quite a duo.

So, I don't get it. Did Eva's VA get replaced? Maybe I'm a dummy.

But anyway... I loved Elian. Best villain ever.

I don't know what else to say other than "good job." I guess I'd really have to be on your level to give you constructive criticism.

Friction

Man, I loved that. Thank God for hilarious WAV files. My computer's filled with 'em.

I liked your style, facial expressions, and effects.

Keep 'em coming my good man.

Cute

My favorite gags were with the KKK dude and the cannonball decapitation.

The overall style was cute. That complimented the crazy violent shit that the bunny was doing to him/herself.

Rock on.

Guh..

I really liked the dialogue, first of all. The music was fitting, too.

My main problem was the pacing. Two examples: In the beginning, when the four guys came in to get muffins. That sequence moved way too slow. The same problem occurs during the giant muffin's consumption of the planet.

Actual voice acting would have helped this movie a whole lot. Instead of guessing how long it would take for the viewer to read the words on the screen, you would have a finite selection of audio to work around.

Anyway, better luck next time. Keep it up!

Pugulous.

Well, first of all I wanna say "good job" for making something entertaining to watch despite my not-likingness of pugs or "Song 2."

Okay, the good stuff: The animation was great. The style was visually pleasing. This is a really good example of how Flash can make minimalistic approaches work so well. Great use of shape tweening. The 'sketchy' look is neato.

My problem was that for a good section of the video, the song did not match the actions. For instance, "Song 2" goes back and forth between mellow and crazy. The animation could have made better use of that.

I also think there is too much after the end of the song. If you could have made a few creative edits to shorten that bit with the pie, it would have been great. OR. Adding sound effects like footsteps, curious groaning, dog-snoring noises, etc etc. That would have also worked. Anyway. Good job and keep it up!

Hooray for Tom Green

Wow, I'm glad someone did a music video to "Piggy Hill," the sophmore Tom Green music video after "The Bum Bum Song" rocked the TRL airwaves.

I really liked the concept. The guy is chilling out on the hill, he has an idea, he pursues it. Great stuff. I liked the shot of him curled up in the corner near the end. It would have been much better, however, if you animated through the whole song and had a brief credits sequence. There was so much you could have done near the end of the song when Tom's going bananas.

My main problem is a few awkward moments in the animation. The character design and motion is fair. The lip sync is good for the most part, until the middle of the video when it's TOTALLY off. Also, there are "shadows" in the grass that keep swirling. I'm not sure what that's supposed to be.

Great song, great idea. Funny to watch. Could've done more though. Keep it up!

My name's Gobolatula and I have a cartoon called Erik the Juiceman (www.erikthejuiceman .com) Interests? Uhhh.... Well, I eat, sleep, work on cartoons.... I don't know, I'm a dummy.
